Great for Outdoor History Buffs

Gave me a better understanding of rifle history and how the firearms were developed. Great story.

Great Narrative - Pathetic Conclusion

Ah, but “People do kill people.” The inanimate tool would have remained harmless had people not neglected the most basic of safety protocols. The ending is totally preposterous and a ridiculous attempt to cash in on the anti-gun belief of an ignorant segment of the population.

Sad Story with an ironic twist

This story follows a rifle from the time it is made until the present. It is an interesting but sad history. Bound to hold a young boy's attention.

Disappointed

Great book until the last chapter or two. The ending was strange and left me hanging.
