Good Series, but SLOW in places

very good series however there are places in each book where too much time is spent trying to describe what the character is FEELING. also there are sometimes too much rationalizing why Lee does what he does. it slows the rhythm of the scene. it is still one of the best apocalyptic series I've read. I recommend to anyone you like stories of this nature.

Amazing

I'm a huge fan of Iron Druid and The Dresden files, didn't think I'd like these books! I'm hands down addicted! The narrator is one of the best in the game. The Writer paints an amazing picture, never a dull moment even during long winded speeches. These are a must read, give it a chance.

What did you love best about The Remaining: Fractured?

Fractured takes everything set up is the previous book and starts acting on it. This book goes back to book 1's survival roots in many ways, but still have the over arching plot points established in Refugees.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Remaining: Fractured?

I'm not going to spoil it, but there's a point where Captain Harden's in dire straights, and goes through hallucinatory spells and finds himself witnessing the probable demise of one of his newest comrades.

Which scene was your favorite?

The Standoff where Captain Harden outmaneuvers his captors.

If you've finished book three, than you probably don't need much encourage to pick up this book. Refugees didn't have a cliffhanger. It had a rock slide of plot twists that's probably sent you over the edge. Keep going, it's well worth it.

I've been through a lot of different zombie series some of the best like "After it happened" "Adrian's Undead diary" "Daybreak" just to name a few and now I am adding "The Remaining" as one of the absolute best zombie series out there captain Lee Hardin is a goddamn hero I just love this series can't wait to start the next one
