Nice ending

I was a little sad at the ending, but it was more real. They didn’t jump right into bed to “make up” it was like life where it is something that must be worked at. You know it will work, but it doesn’t have the same ending as her other books. I really liked it. Thanks Lexie for another great book!

Harlow, Jensen and Niall...

The Reluctant Siren is the second book in the Texas Sirens series. It is a small town, second chance, BDSM, menage, romantic suspense. This is Harlow, Jensen and Niall's story. With this one we get a fast paced story with non-stop action, drama, and so many twists and turns you won't see coming. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. There is great chemistry between these three characters, secrets revealed, all the feels and a cameo from Big Tag...What could be better then getting a glimpse of big Tag? This was an enjoyable read for me.

Kitty Bang, Lee Samuels and Tyan West did a great job bringing these characters and this story to life. I enjoyed listening to them.

What’s so wrong about 3’s?

This was my first Lexi Blake book and I’m glad I did the audiobook route! Harlow is a baddie and I love her for it! I loved that she put those boys through the paces and got hers too. I used to be a bad boy over golden but there was somethin about Nyle that may switch me over. It was fast paced and in some places it seemed like the story wasn’t fully flushed out? Could just be me. I so want to read her parents story now after this one.

Good Suspense.

The suspense in The Reluctant Siren is interesting, but I didn't feel the character connection that I had hoped for, especially in this type of relationship. Some things felt forced or rushed and others felt a bit exaggerated.

The audio narration was good, I just hoped to connect more with the story than I did.

Sexy story

This is my first book in this series and it did not disappoint. Its a fast paced sexy story involving a thruple with Harlow, Jensen and Nial. As always with Lexi Blake you get twists and turns and an roller coaster of emotions to get through with the story.

The narrators, Kitty Bang, Lee Samuels and Tyan West; did amazing as always. bringing this story to life.

exciting mfm romance

this was a spicy and exciting fast-paced mfm romance! i really enjoyed exploring the DSS throuple dynamics & the relationships that form between each individual. there is quite a lot of self reflection and self sabotage between harlow, niall and jensen. the intrigue and suspense to their off the books operation felt a little rushed and like background to the focus of their relationship, i wish there had been more focus on the PI/revenge or the dynamics of the hideout and world of “the life.” we got bits of both but neither felt totally explored. the spice was absolutely fab, and the amount of safety & consent was golden! i really appreciated that it wasnt an immediate forgiveness & love HEA ending, but i do wish we had gotten a bit more of a look at the three of them happy.

kitty bang, lee samuels and ryan west’s narration was so good! i really enjoyed their performance, and how individualistic each character was due to their separate narrators!

Cinnamon Roll and an Alphahole MC, yes please

Harlow Dawson hasn't been herself since she returned from a mission two years ago, but it's time she shook off the funk and got back to things. This new mission requires her to go undercover with a Dom, so she enlists the help of Niall, whom she's been attracted to for a while now, so she may as well test the waters while undercover and see what happens.

Niall Griffen is hiding a secret, a big one, and when it comes out, it could ruin everything he hopes to explore with Harlow. But first, he needs to get in touch with his best friend and talk things out, only he can't get in touch with Jensen Wiley, which doesn't bode well for any of them because shit's gonna hit the fan a lot quicker than any of them anticipated.

Calling all lovers of Cinnamon Roll MCs, as well as Alphahole MCs, because you have the best of both worlds with these two men, just like Harlow does. Jensen is a total Alpha-hole; he has no qualms about doing things to ensure you're not in harm's way, even if it's part of your job. However, if you do somehow get a bump or bruise, Niall is there to care for you. SWOON

If you're an audiobook girlie you are going to love the trio that is narrating this book. Kitty Bang, Lee Samuels, and Ryan West did a brilliant job of bringing this story to life; you could feel every raw emotion of what was happening in that moment. I highly recommend the audiobook version if you can listen to it.

SO MANY CHARACTERS

As an active participant in 'The Lifestyle' she spends a lot of her spare time at The Hideout where she is safe to partake in any dynamic of her choosing.
She is immediately enamored with the new guy, Naill and she learns hes retired military, she decides to approach him with an offer from both personal and professional purposes. Naill is just as enamored with Harlow and wants nothing more than to keep her all to himself, but he has secrets that could make or break what he wants to build with her and knowing Harlow, she won't be happy when everything is revealed.
When her past and her present collide on this new mission, Harlow is left reeling with confronting her past and learning to forgive these men if she wants a fighting chance at a future with them. But after everything they've kept from her and put her through, she's reluctant to allow herself to be vulnerable and with a bounty now on their heads, she doesn't have much time to make the most important decisions of her life.
Jumping back into this world took me a moment as I had to get reacquainted with all the different characters and family trees, but it started to click as the story went on and the action and suspense was great plot. I also enjoy that all the explicit activities and discussions of the lifestyle are made with intention and are so closely tied to the journey of the thruple as a unit and the healing of each individual as well.
All three narrators were fantastic on this title. Kitty Bang, Lee Samuels and Ryan West are some of my absolute favorite performers and I always enjoy their work, This title was no exception to a phenomenal ride.

Alpha hole and cinnamon roll in one story yes please

This is my first read/listen of this author I will be going back and reading more for sure. The FMC was amazing. This one was a spicy suspenseful why choose MFM story. This story connects Harlow, Jensen and Niall. While there’s a history between the MCs as couples (friendship, exs new relationships) it made for a great second chance romance. Jensen caused Harlow heart break 2 years ago but enter Niall who makes Harlow feel safe and there’s clear attraction there. Little does she know there’s a secret behind Niall. The three of them work together. They are such a cohesive unit. Harlow being able to get herself back together and also forgive Jensen was nothing short of amazing. This story was enjoyable Im interested in what’s next in this universe. Being second generation makes me wanna go back and hear the other stories to understand the dynamic of the other side characters in this one.

Loved it

The beginning of this book had me worried. There’s this big info dump that had me thinking. Wait have I missed a book what’s going on here and it was a lot to be completely honest. But once the story got going it really got going. I loved our three main characters and the way their relationship develops. Loved all the twists the turns and the madness that was going. Oh my gosh, it was insane. Loved it. I highly recommend.
