Another timeless story

The Refuge by John Heldt is a magnificent time-travelling story. I have read many stories from this author before, and I really enjoyed all of them. This is another story within the Time Box saga, and as each one is told, they just get better and better. This is book four, and though it's not required, I always recommend that the stories be read or listened to in order. This advantage gives the listener insight into the Lane family and their individual characters, as well as a united family. Again, we have the Lanes, a family of seven, and the travel, is not just an ordinary vacation or a new life, but in a different time person. It's a story that feels so real, and the-time eras seem so perfectly research. The Refuge tells a story of the family tiring of time travel, but of course, there are things or people against them. Another wonderfully suspenseful timeless story. This author has a great imagination and I'm glad it's being shared with stories. This narration really brought this story to life. This book deserves both a read and a listen! The Refuge on audiobook is a definite listening recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to listening to many more titles by this author. Engaging Time Travel Book

The Refuge Time Box, Book 4 By John A. Heldt is a well written enjoyable time travel story. Mr. Heldt does an excellent job of research and seemed to put me right there in 1940's Hawaii. I have not read this series from book one which wasn't a problem. It isn't necessary to start with book one but I feel it would have made the reading experience just a tiny bit more pleasurable. The narration by Roberto Scariato was excellent. I plan to pick up the earlier books in this series.
