Publisher's Summary

Post-apocalyptic fiction by Sean Liscom.

Jason Sterling had a simple life by all accounts. He had worked the same job his entire adult life, he had never married and he had no children. He was used to doing things on his own. His comfortable life was shaken to the core the day he learned of his fathers death. It set in motion life altering events and the allure of a new life that was too great to walk away from. When an electromagnetic pulse brings the modern world to its knees, Jason's choice proves to be the right one.

if you're a liberal this probably isn't for you.

I have read thousands of books, and have read many reviews on books. I have never seen so many whinny little babies knock a book over being conservative. liberals have done nothing but insult conservatives and conservative ideas for years. if you don't like a book that's fine but don't get offended when you're called liberal Pansies. I know truth hurts your feelings.

great set of books.

Probably least satisfying of 3 Legacy books

Maybe its just me but Jack is just too damn omniscient and all powerful. Too many "just in time" miracles and perfect outcomes. Not realistic to me. After all of his injuries in Book 2, how could Jason even walk just a few days later? Also, the plot regarding Jack's intentions really doesn't make sense. Still, i was entertained & look forward to the new perspective of Book 4 (when it comes out in audio).

Another great story in the Ranch Series

First of all I must say damn you Mr. Liscom, so many unanswered questions.

I will say I found this series by a accident and I’m so happy I did. Very few books have the ability to keep me so wrapped up I can not stop listening to them. This series is one of the few I find myself not being able to stop listening to. Me. Lanes style of story telling and your outstanding writing just pulls you in and doesn’t let you go. I have already listened to books one and two twice, and once book four is close to coming out I will listen to them all again. Everytime I listen to the books I pick up on something I’ve missed and again am unable to stop listening.

Many have tried and failed to write this type of story. You sir don’t focus on the end of the world but more about the human struggle that happens because of it.

The only bad thing I have to say about this book is the fact that it seemed to go by to quick.

first two and a half books good, last half crap.

I rarely comment but he created such a poorly constructed character. Melissa, I had to say something. Read the first two books and leave well enough alone. it's just such a bad character it ruins the series, reminiscent of Chloe from the left behind books.

These 3 books are a great read, or as I did, listen to. They really keep you wondering what is gonna happen next.

Not as good as the First 2 books

This 3rd book dragged on too much. The plot was too vague and complicated. There was a missed opportunity with this book.
