Wonderful Book

This is a great book for someone who wants a deeper understanding of just how wonderful god is in all of his glory.

Wonderful insight

God blesses individuals that are willing to speak truthfully of Himself, with an otherworldly ability. Tozer is one of these individuals. As you listen, you may find a few hurts or rejoice for the conviction placed on your heart by the Truth given in this (audio)book. By revealing just how far we [all] fall short of God’s glory, my imagination is peaked by the author’s ability to structure his sentences and connect relevant scripture to really appreciate those attributes. Surely one can get more by the Bible alone if never reading another book, but it helps to identify with a fellow sinner’s point of view. In Chapter 10, he explains that as he gets older, he appreciates hymns over secular music because while one may demonstrate the skills of the musician, it does not contain God. The hymn may be criticized by the same musician, but because God is there in that song, it’s better. Besides that, I think this will be useful to share with others who struggle with sin, and do not know God. Well worth the time, and enjoyable.

In awe of God’s attributes!

A.W. Tozer is a magnificent author that truly conveyed God’s attributes to the common person. I’ve learned so much about the attributes of God and scripture in the Bible that support each of them. Tozer writes in the beginning that he feels the church is in a decline of the understanding of God. This issue is the main focus of his study. I’m going to read and re-read this book. I highly recommend!

A simple yet rapturous exposition of our Lord Jesus

Mr Tozer has struck again with this passionate and sometimes “in your face” message. He has honed a what was an already uncanny, sharp pencil: and with this work, turned it int a razor sharp scalpel. The maturity of his literary style has reached a new zenith with this book. He succeeds in casting a wide net using prose, examples, analogy, and timeless common sense. With books such as this (I grant that there are few at this caliber), no professor of Christianity may claim ignorance.

Undeniable

This is got to be one of the best boats I’ve ever listen to. It is clear theology in one of the most clearly, communicating ways I’ve ever heard I’m not an educated man. I have no trouble understanding and wanting to come back for more.

Extraordinary book

Bring back the true meaning of who God was, is, and always be. Great Research!
