Arayanna and Kalia are two young Horse Fairies who lead a peaceful and isolated life tucked away on the sea cliffs of Longdal. Loyl, the girls' protector, is a mastered Pillae bug who is skilled in spellcraft, the arts, music, and the manifestation of the Will Wood. When their secret palace is discovered, it is Loyl’s sole responsibility to bring these two girls into the Queendom they once left. Loyl, Arayanna, and Kalia must journey across the Queendom to get to the Last Moonal before it is too late.
An unseen power has taken the Queendom. It is a new creature known only as Velvet, a shape-shifting shroud which truly and quite literally has no heart. No one really knows what is happening, as no one returns to tell about it.
It is a dangerous voyage to the Last Moonal, but it is the only place where a Horse Fairy can be trained in the ancient arts of the Palatatra Princess. Only with courage, a true heart, and the wisdom of Loyl will the Horse Fairies, Arayanna and Kalia, make it to the Last Moonal. But will it be enough?

My daughter gave it a 👍!
My 7 year old is a beginning reader and I try to find creative ways support her learning. This is the first audiobook she has listened to and she loved it! She listened to the story while she was playing with legos or doing art projects and it helped spark her imagination and creativity. The characters and plot are well developed and I've enjoyed listening with her. It has made long drives more enjoyable for both of us.
