A wonderful book for this point in my life when I am separated from my only true love. I must change to keep her.

A nice thought filled older woman adventure

I could relate to this woman’s story. I liked being a part of her journey. It may not be for everyone but if you’re a woman 50 or over it’s a good read.

A touching story of a woman's escape from routine and her discoveries

Nan is fifty and although she grew up in the sixties, experimenting with drugs and free love, she became a mother and housewife according to the model of the fifties. In the process, she lost her identity and sense of self. However, she leaves her husband to travel and reflect on her future. Through her letters and journal, we experience the changes and growth as exquisitely written by E Berg.
Unfortunately, the quality of the audio recording is poor. An annoying echo spoils the enjoyment of this book.

A Gift to Women!

This book caught me by surprise! It was selected for my book club and I couldn’t stop until I was finished. If you are interested in a glimpse into women as they transition through the stages of life, this is a lovely read!

Delightful!

This was a summer treat! The story is really well written and easy to follow. Love the style- swapping between journal entries and letters home to tell this marvelous story of a woman in a midlife identity crisis.
