Story
For dinosaurs, it was a big rock. For humans: Coronal Mass Ejection (CME). When the Earth is hit by the greatest CME in recorded history (several times larger than the Carrington Event of 1859), the combined societies of the planet's most developed nations struggle to adapt to a life thrust back into the Dark Ages. In the United States, the military scrambles to speed the nation's recovery on multiple fronts including putting down riots, establishing relief camps, delivering medical aid, and bringing communication and travel back on line. Just as a real foothold is established in retaking the skies (utilizing existing commercial aircraft supplemented by military resources and ground control systems), a mysterious virus takes hold of the population, spreading globally over the very flight routes that the survivors fought so hard to rebuild.

fantastic story line
I really wish I could respond to another review that had bad comments stating you can't rewrite history. Archeologists and historians continually rewrite history based on new discoveries, manyof which support the facts as written in the Bible. But that is not what is happening here. This is a futuristic dystopian fiction work that expands thought. Beautifully written and performed.

A little editorial research would've help a bit
Not super terrible but wow. All kind of bad errors about all kind of things.
If kind of follows like a poorly written religious story but, it's not because if a religious author wrote this, there is not way the religous stuff would be so wrong.

Really wanted to like this
The production was interesting. It felt very similar to listening to a movie. I do not usually listen to these types of audios so it was a new experience. However, I will honestly say I got lost a little when the story would jump timelines, but I was able to adjust.
The voice acting was good, but the story left much to be desired. The writing is just not what I hoped it would be. It seemed poorly researched. I really wanted to like this because the acting was superb and the premise was interesting, but the story/writing could definitely use some improvement.

Interesting but a confused story that gets mixed up
I’m not sure how I feel after listening. It’s not bad, the actors are excellent and powerful. The story… that’s the “not sure” bit. It’s a little weak. A play on The Omen. I think the idea is very good, and I get it… but the final message of the story is my confusion . It becomes a political, activists rights type thing. I think the author should have gone for the story as it started out, not add in political rights meets racism overtones.

Well and expertly played, but preachy and ridiculous
All of the cast play their parts well, but towards the conclusion it does become rather preachy and pointed. it is not the Universe that devalues black women and black lives, it is white people, you know, other ignorant semi-evolved primates.
It is also rather religious, so at lesst you know it is fictional. Well worth a listen, though.
