Emotional

This audiobook explores the psychological trauma of loss, despair and the need to survive. It was emotional. It was well written. The narrator was fantastic.

Wow!

I really enjoyed The Promise! I’m not usually a romantic suspense reader but may be after this! The storyline was paced well and I was never bored! I really enjoyed the characters and was so eager to see how the story unfolded! With the flashbacks at the very beginning…. I was dying to figure out how we got to that point so it was fun to go back in time! I will say… there were a few times I was slightly confused with the audiobook ONLY because the person who is the subject of the story would change and since I can’t physically see the line breaks in the story… sometimes it took me a second to realize we had changed people! Would def recommend and can’t wait to read the next book.

this was a very touching story as your reading it you wish that it was true. At the beginning it was a little confusing but don't stop listening because it gets so much better. I highly recommend it

Even with all the tension and emotional moments, the characters feel well developed and relatable, which keeps you invested in what happens next.
