The only resource you need on productivity

I have been reading and listening to books on self-development for several years now, and they have completely changed my life. This books takes it to the next step by combining the two very important aspects of spirituality and productivity. Faris refers to several books and concepts that I have read about and incorporated in my life. I already had knowledge about a lot of the information he discusses related to exercise, nutrition and sleep, but then again I have read books and books on each these aspects. If you want one single guide to have access to all of the critical information you need to live a healthy, productive and meaningful life, then this book is a great choice.

How do you integrate productivity for Allah sake?

If you could sum up The Productive Muslim in three words, what would they be?

Allahs' Productive Slave.

What other book might you compare The Productive Muslim to and why?

Three personal favorite and effective productivity books to compare with. The Productivity Project by Chris Bailey, Getting Things Done by David Allen, and Getting Results the Agile Way by J. D. Meier. The Productive Muslim book helps me strengthen and internalize the importance of being productive as a Muslim. The goal is not for material gains. Results are an outcome of Allahs' will. Investing in being productive to seek Allahs' pleasure and Use productivity as an act of worship. MashaAllah.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

While waiting for this audiobook release. I believe this audiobook needs to be read by the author himself, Mohammed Faris. Despite a very small unnoticeable narration pronounciation, his performance narrating the message was clear and easily absorb. Consistency in delivering his energy in his voice throughout the book. MashaAllah. TabarakAllah.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

A few times I got home and reaching the office car park, I was still in the car listening to complete the chapter. This is because there is just so much knowledge to reflect on from each chapter of the audiobook. Connecting the dots. MashaAllah.

Any additional comments?

I would like the publisher or author to upload the bibliography of the book accompanying this audiobook. Most of the reference made in the book needs to be checked and read deeper. Especially when author narrates the translation and quote from the Quran. I would like to know which Verse from which Surah it was Quote. JazakAllahu khair.

Inspirational, Practical & well structured

The author did a fantastic job of writing a complex topic of leadership, spirituality and productivity and distilling it into an exciting and inspiring book. I enjoyed the practical tools and applications shared in the book and can be easily implemented. Furthermore, the spiritual element and alignment with the true meaning of being useful not only at work but in many hats/roles we play in life were inspiring.

May Allah grant this author the strength, knowledge and wisdom to continue writing many books to inspire the creation of the Allah. I look forward to your next book.

The only book you'll need to actually do something with your life

I am a very lazy and unmotivated person, and this book addressed some serious issues from many unexpected angles that I would never have thought about. The book is comprehensive and brilliant that I started Implementing things from it right away and I saw amazing amazing progress, instantly. If you are a non productive Muslim like I am, then you need this book in your life right now. May Allah bless Mohammed Faris and reward him greatly for this beautiful gift to all of us.

I love the book, but I don't like the voice over.

I just started The Productive Muslim ebook and I fell in love just from the 12 page sample. I bought the Audible version thinking that after reading a section, I would then plug in my headphones and review what I read while cleaning or doing my daily tasks in the house. I was even more pleasantly surprised to find the the author himself would be reading the book.

Unfortunately, I couldn't continue the Audible. Why does Mr. Faris read in a way that sounds so foreign? and I don't mean that literally because it sounds like he has an accent (I say that from my American perspective). What I mean is it just doesn't sound/feel like he is the author. Man, you have no idea the let down. I guess you can't expect for the voice in your head to be what you get, but this much? I mean I really thought he would read it more like a lecture, or a wise friend or something. But what I hear is almost robotic, reading it for the first time, unmotivating just blah.

I wish I heard the passion, the "this is what I live by since I wrote the book", "here let me help you understand", you know? I guess all I can say is that I am REALLY happy that I read the book first because I'm pretty sure it would have ruined the book for me.

I say all of this as a person who genuinely thanks the author for his hard work and putting forth such amazing content that can be reached on almost all levels. As a Muslim woman, wife and mother I am in constant struggle and strive for achieving the pleasure of Allah SWT and earning the eternal bliss of the Hereafter. May Allah reward the entire team and anyone who contributed to the making of this book. And inshallah my I continue to use this book as a means of becoming a better Muslim for the sake of Allah. Ameen.

I read the kindle edition last year but always wanted to re-read it. The audiobook made it easier for me to be able to consume the knowledge again.

Great book highly recommended. I'm listening to it now for the third time since I bought it.

Productivity manual for every Muslim

Faris takes inspirations from well known and successful psychology and self development preachers such as Brain Tracy and combines it with Islamic teachings to guide the reader on living a meaningful purpose filled life that is oriented towards social focus in addition to self development and proper use of time.

I will recommend this book to anyone who is interested in increasing their productivity. This book will not solve all your productivity problems but it will give you practical tips and template to work from.
