Loved it!

This was a great follow up to book one. Relationship developed beautifully, characters grew, and dragons flew. Onto book three.

This book is amazing! It's nonstop action with a side of romance. I love Tristram and Bet. I can't wait to start the next book and find out what happens with sweet little Roland and the rest of these fantastic characters. I love how they keep leveling up and getting more powerful. This is so well written.
I loved listening to this audiobook. I'm glad this is narrated by people because I won't listen to ai or virtual voice. The narrators are so excellent for this story. Lessa Lamb and Greg Boudreaux are both extremely talented.

Romantic and Thrilling

The Prince’s Dragon elevates the stakes set in the first book with heart-pounding political drama, growing bonds, and dragons galore. Tris, now Regent to a precariously ill King Roland, is pulled deeper into court machinations—his loyalty to the throne tested by traitors, illness, and dangerous allegiances. The romance threads weave further—not only between Tris and Bet, but through multiple LGBTQIA+ pairings that feel genuine, grounding the high-stakes fantasy in deeply felt connection. Worldbuilding expands to include new dragon clans, magic, and political webs that enrich the texture without losing emotional grounding. The novel wraps with a gripping cliffhanger that leaves you powerless to resist picking up the next one.

Nail-biting!

I feel this series truly hasn't gotten the attention it deserves: this second book has only fully convinced me of it.

This is what I always wanted from high fantasy that included tales of love: for the love and the tale to be inextricable, to truly support each other instead of one feeling jammed up against the other, and for the humanity of that love to be a sweeping as the story of the Kingdom itself, without even one false note of mawkish sentimentality.

Truly lovely. if I had read these books at 14 or 24, I might have had a different outlook.

Dramatic in the best way

Suspenseful, interesting, fleshed out characters. What a great series! I love that it’s a real adventure story not just a romance novel.
