If you enjoy listening to a narcissist buy this book

Doing my best to give this book the benefit of the doubt I took a break at the end of chapter 6. I am less than 5 minutes into chapter 7 and I’ve had enough of listening to this guy repeat over and over all the sports teams he’s hung out with, their success, the business success of executives, the words can’t, won’t, don’t and the CONSTANT I AND ME! There is no constructive or meaningful content in this book. Save yourself time, money and your audible credit and buy a coloring book. You have a lot more positive to gain from coloring in the lines instead of listening to this garble.

Always positive

I met Jon on a flight to Mississippi of all places and got the chance to hear him speak to the athletes at Mississippi State University. this book dives deeper into his public speaking topics and give a clear picture of what it takes to be a effective leader.

The message is good

The message is good with many good points. However, the reader is hard to keep up with and seems in a hurry where inflection and pause would allow the message to better resonate. This is probably more enjoyable in hardcover print.

The message I needed to hear.

Phenomenal book, I work with a team of 50 people at hospital that's going through a turnaround there's a lot of work to do, but hearing a message like this book delivers helps keep you encouraged to do the work.

Another Awesome Book!

Jon Gordon’s voice is like taking a Positive Vitamin. If I could package and sell how Jon inspires me in vitamin form, I’d be a millionaire. He reminds me that my attitude and my perspective are completely dependent upon me. Jon will give you tons of twitter and word swag fodder in this book with example after example of how to think, speak, and act. A must read for anyone who wants to grow whether you consider yourself positive or not already. Jennifer Courtney Sr. Director for the Pampered Chef

Really good

I really enjoyed the book. It felt like a good mix of Dale Carnegie and Zenger/Folkman. Get results, but be positive about it. I only gave it four stars because of the many references to the power bus. We get it, you wrote another book.

More than I expected

Great book! Really like how he shows examples and applies them to leadership. It’s an easy story to listen to. And the performance of the narrator was really good.

well done

This format is not my favorite from Jon but, due to it's depth of material turned out to be a stellar delivery. Worth the time.

Great tips and practice wisdom

I really enjoyed this book. If you enjoy Jon’s other books this one is right on par. It’s a great recap of his other books with the best taken out of each of his books. I really enjoyed the second half of the book which gets into a how to with leadership.
