I feel more in control

Rhonda Byrne has really changed my life first with the secret and now with the power. I am starting to realize how much more good there is in life and the positives around me instead of thinking about all the negatives. I definitely feel more grateful each day, things that I would normally forget to be thankful for.

Love IS powerful

First I read the book and I implemented her ideas in my life immediately and I have seen results instantly. I had such a great week after reading the book, I had to download the audio version so that I can listen to it over and over to get the message deep into my consciousness. I could not wait for audible.com to provide an aduiobook version.

I have always read or heard how powerful love is from everything from self development material to biblical study. Jesus told us that love is his #1 command, I have always heard it but did not really and truly understand the "love is powerful" concept. Rhonda's book explains love perfectly, it is not a religious book but I am sure if you are religious you will really get her message on a secular and religious level.

Rhonda breaks down love so perfectly and shows why and how it is so powerful. I recommend that you listen to this book, read this book, get into your consciousness and implement these ideas immediately and you will experience life changing results. I send love to everyone who reads this review.

The Best Of The Best!!!

The Secret (the movie) was a great overview of the Law Of Attraction. Those who did not get The Secret will probably not get the how-to follow up, "The Power". It is not until now did I learn HOW to LOVE, WHY to LOVE, WHEN to LOVE, WHAT/WHO to LOVE. Thank you sooo much Rhonda! You are God sent for sure. This is not for everybody, it takes an individual who is willing to open their eyes to look beyond their established horizon... It will be great when the movie comes out (I have both the book and the audio book)... Rhonda, when is your third book? God, the Universe, Love bless you infinite times over!!!!!!!!!

Great mood enhancer!

I'm a Life Coach who was originally motivated by Rhonda Byrne's first hit, The Secret. Her new book/audio, "The Power" was even more inspiring and appealing. I initially read the book and her words seemed to dance off the page and into my mind, transforming depression/anxiety into love and inspiration. I personally feel I resonate with Rhonda Byrne, more than any other author. This audio makes sense and it has assisted me in transforming my life to the next degree. If real love is the first thing on your agenda you will only grow and your life will expand to heights you will not believe. That is another important idea here. BELIEVING is the most important task here. We have choices in this world to believe what we choose to. I found it best to choose beliefs that inspire, move and beautify our life. You will experience yourself and those around you truly blossom. Enjoy and be well :--).

The Power

This books explains in more detail what the "Secret" didn't do. It's a practical tell all about the power of LOVE and how it affects every area of your life. This a fantastic audiobook and is worth a listen everyday.

Enjoyable!

I loved her previous book 'the secret', so I had been waiting to get this audio book since the power was published. Sometimes I get disappointed when I read the second book from the same author, but not this time!
The power is different from the secret,she isn't trying to repeat exactly what she has already told us, and therefore it was well worth listening.

Fantastic narration as well, and she seems to have put a huge effort in making her audio versions of the books with sound effects, and I always enjoy listening to her books.

More practical than The Secret

I like this audiobook as the message that it brings builds on ideas from The Secret and puts a practical slang to it. Think of it as The Secret being a big picture view while The Power narrows down to ideas which we can put into practise.

However, like most books, I believe that it is not a blanket formula for doing things. We need to apply a bit of common sense and follow our conscience.

Life Changing....

once again Rhonda Byrne comes through with a book that has the ability to change lives. If you keep doing the same thing over and over again and your life doesn't seem to be getting any better, read/listen to this book, apply the message and then get ready to really LIVE a life that is fully abundant! Within hours of applying Rhonda's principles I saw results. Her first book, The Secret, changed my life... The Power is just making it better...as if it can get ANY BETTER!!!

It is presented in such an interesting way with sound effects and music.

What did you learn from The Power that you would use in your daily life?

I wonderful reminder of how important it is to be thankful for everything we already have. In so doing we open up to recieve more. Also what you put out into the world is what you will get back. Put out good feelings you will attract good. Put out negative feelings you will get back the same.

I would hope everyone will read or at least listen to this book. It could change the future of our planet and our lives.

A real gem of a book

I was inspired by the previous review to give a contrasting opinion!! I am a HUGE fan of the secret, so didn't hurry to buy this, as I thought it wouldn't offer anything new... but I was wrong!!! This book is fantastic! I feel inspired, and feel it is contributing to real change within me. I agree that her voice is a little grating (which I took to be her passion, as it IS read by the author), but even despite that I still love it, and will listen again for sure!

I even decided I wanted to buy the hardback book version, and went into town to purchase it... I locked my bike up in town, and noticed a second-hand shop I'd never noticed before. I popped in before going to the bookshop, and there, on top of a pile of books was a mint condition copy of the Power!! Law of Attraction at it's best.

I love this book

I think this works better on audio, as I find it almost like a mediation and put in frequently, almost on a loop as it makes me feel so uplifted and inspired. I have recommended it to others too and they have felt the same. Enjoy!

The Real Secret to Personal Power

I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this. After reading The Secret and feeling slightly underwhelmed by its rather wishy-washy content I was not sure that the follow up was going to add much more to my life.

I must say that I was so surprised that The Power is much more focussed on the real techniques for changing your life. It is beautifully produced and highly empowering. In truth this is the secret that the prequel never got anywhere near approaching by any of its contributors. If you enjoy Jerry and Esther Hicks then this is probably a more concise version of their teachings from a slightly different perspective.

I thoroughly recommend it!

Incredibly Uplifting

The Secret took the world by storm, but many people found it very difficult to follow its principals. The Power distils these principals into easy practical steps that are easy to follow and for which I am very grateful. My only issue with Rhonda's vision of the world is what appears to be an uncritical view of consumerism rather than a more harmonious and balanced approach. She may also raise the hackles of some scientists with her ascertion about water having memory - this is not accepted by the majority although there is research which purports to support the idea. Thanks again Rhonda!

The most important book you will ever listen to

This is quite simply the best and most important book I have ever read. Rhonda Byrne follows on from her bestseller The Secret with this inspiring yet straightforward book, explaining the most powerful force in the universe and how you have it at your fingertips every moment of every day.
Through this book you can transform your life to enable you to be and live your true authentic self, to be, do or have whatever you want. Not just like that, you understand. Transforming your life means transforming the way you approach life and Rhonda explains this clearly and unequivocally.
If you are in any way into spiritual growth or self development, you will get this. If you have read, listened to or seen The Secret, you will get this. If you have a heart you will get this. One way or another you should get this.

Phonominal ... You will never look back.. !!

Would you listen to The Power again? Why?

I listen to this every day .... In the car to and from work ... Walking the dog ... In bed ... And at work .... It's changed my life in to something spectacular.... I quote my life now as .. My life before "the secret power" and my life "NOW ... That I know the secret power" .... This book has turned my life totally from a person who always saw my life as a "glass half empty" to a life filled with everything I could ever want and imagine .... Money has come easily to me and things in my life have turned completely 180degrees in the most phonominal way that I could have ever wanted or imagined.. I see the world in the brightest .. Beautiful and clearest way now .. My life is amazing xxxx I can't thank Rhonda Byrne enough for sharing this "secret / power" with me xxxx. I am so grateful and thankful that she totally risked everything she had to make this extraordinary knowledge known to us ... Thank you Rhonda xxxxx if only everyone would read / listen to this ... love is a strong word

although I get the message and do apply positive thinking to my life, I think saying to love everything from shoes to cars is a bit full on , love is a strong work and shouldn't really be used for materialistic things. I like materialistic things and it's nice to have them but they don't bring true love or happiness.

Best Audiobook!!!

I absolutely loved this audiobook. I have the hard copy version too but the audio is simply amazing. It is the only one in my collection that I plan on listening to again straight away. She includes a lot of theatrics to add effect and it works great, and the music is inspiring and allows you to feel what Rhonda feels and is trying to portray.

I absolutely recommend. I only wish I could find another audiobook just as great. I would have loved to have the audiobook version of The Magic too but unfortunately I don't think it is available.

Mixed Feelings

There is no doubt that there is a lot of good and inspiring information in this book and if you havent heard any of it before I am sure may come as a revelation, However, I wish that I had just purchased either the kindle or hard copy of this as the narration is really irritating to say the least, all the sound effects are totally rediculous and really over the top its all like an advertisment for the latest blockbuster movie and this takes away from the words which are over dramatised by the narrator and then repeated
I think this detracts from the book and is rather off putting which is a shame, I may just purchase the kindle version and cut to the chase as the audible version is just distracting. Probably really good in hard copy
