3 star book; 5 star reader

- I wish I cold give it 3.5 stars

If you are a big Urban Fantasy fan, and don't mind more teen geared books, this is a good audiobook for you. If you are a very picky listener, and you only like the best the genre has to offer, move to something else.

I like L. J. Smith (don't love). The recent books she added to the Vampire Diaries series are the only ones i think excellent. This series is above her average, but not all that memorable. I enjjoyed them, but I douibt I will listen to them again next year.

I LVOE Kristine Hvam and any charaters she ever creates I inevitably love. Becasue of her, I found these books very enjoyable to listen to.

This series is very reminiscent of old Lois Duncun Books (I know What You Did Last Summer; Killing Mr G.=riffin). L.D. had a book this reminded me of, where teens who found themselves being used for nepharious purposes by a boarding school for the "talented". But it was different enough that I wasn't bored.

The Possessed

This is book 2 of the Dark Vision Trilogy. Caitlin and her friends are on the run. Gabriel is struggling to come to terms with his hunger for life energy, and is forced to accept help from Caitlin. Gabriel knows that he will be feared and hated if people were to discover his secret, and meanwhile, his bond with Caitlin is growing. A moving and powerful story that sets up the scene nicely for the final showdown.
