I wouldn't waste my money on this

This is a good example of the fact that you can write a poker book even though you aren't NEARLY qualified to do so. This is not your quick fix to climb to the top, nothing is. I haven't gotten through the book yet but the start is already riddled with untrue statements and bad tips for learning players. Get anything else

edit 1: The author is clearly confused on what tight/loose and aggressive/passive are. FYI they describe very different things. For example he says "if on a tight table, loosen up a little" which is decent advice. then he says "if you are on an aggressive table, tighten up a bit". This is NOT the opposite of the previous statement, he should say "on a LOOSE table tighten up". A tight table can be aggressive and a loose table might be passive.

edit 2: Yeah, no.. nonononono.. He says that preflop ace king of diamond has "65% poker equity". For one, poker equity is not a real term, and two, you can't simply say you have 65% equity preflop if you don't know what your opponent's range is or if you don't know how many opponents you have. If your opponent can only hold aces, kings, or AK you are a huge underdog, or if you are facing 3 opponents your odds aren't nearly 65%. I'm done with this waste of a book..

Yes great info :

I am new to poker and this book gives me comprehensive understanding not only on theory but also on practical tips I can apply in my game. The instructor has great understanding on the subject! So far I've gone through pre flop, calling ranges, players types and I see improvement in my game. Excellent starting point for me! I am excited to learn more. Looking forward for the rest of the course.

For beginner player looking for information...

Definitely good info for beginner...not experienced players. If you are starting NL holdem tournament and need to learn more info about basic strategy for tournament...it is a good boo/audio to review and compare to your strategy.

Worst poker book ever

Don’t know how there are so many good reviews, I’m thinking they’re fake... within 2 minutes of listening to it I could tell the author hasn’t played much poker (at least not in this century) and the narrator was just brutal to listen to. Take your $10 and put it on black... at least you’d have a chance of getting a return on your investment!

What were the reviewers listening to?????

First of all I am sorry. Not generally this critical but I feel I need to be. I read a lot of the reviews and thought, yeah I will give it a try. I am a break even player (+-), so I am always looking for some extra insight. I have a big library of poker audio books. Just to say what I am basing my critic on. This book.... honestly was very hard to listen to. it hurt to listen to it. Narrator, sounded like he was reading it for the first time and what he was forced to read was really bad. I am not sure if Mr. Bradley has played much poker, But I am guessing not. Terminology, basic info was not only wrong, was just silly. "if opponent folds and you bet, you are sure to win the game" Yes I did type that correctly, but that is the basic tone of all I was able to listen to. I have absolutely no idea how anyone could give this a good review on any level. I have to stop. Thanks goodness audible allows returns. Thanks Audible.

Awesome listen

Every structure, building or house has a strong foundation. For me, this is where categorizing players and being aware of hand ranges is stellar when it came to increasing my skill set.

Great and useful content!

This audiobook provide you with all the tools and tactics that you need to know about, so you can have a real edge over your opponents at this level. I don't think it's possible to get a course with this high standard with the bargain price you have to pay else where. Kevin is a very good teacher, he goes through all the concepts so a person with no knowledge about poker will understand.

Love the course.

Great Explanation of all of the topics. Although I have been playing for a number years, it is still good to back through what you have learned and reset the mind and thought process. My game has fallen down as of late forcing me to stop. This book allows me to look at my game from the outside in and make adjustments as needed.

The information was still fresh and easy to

I have been playing poker on and off for the last 5 years with various degrees of success. Over time, I had the opportunity to look at various aspects of the game but always struggled to find information that is well structured, clear and accurate. This audiobook has been excellent. Hit the break even after incorporating your strategy, suggestions and ranges which help plugged a number of my leaks! Thank you for putting the course together and sharing your experience!

Valuable materials vs. the market

This is a one of a kind poker course. For the Poker Player it is one of the most encouraging and supportive poker courses I've ever seen. It lifts you up and gives you the moral support you need regarding so many areas of poker thinking and in such a motivational way. It makes you come to grip with your poker self and makes it possible for you to realize you have more poker potential than you realized. It makes you say to yourself I think I can overcome areas that have been holding me back from enjoying the poker journey. I don't have to be like anybody else , I can enjoy just being me.
