Lovely story!

Sam West’s narration is so good in this series! Really brings the animal characters to life.

Deeply satisfying

This is a terrific continuation of the story and an expansion of the universe. I loved it.

Characters you can’t help but love and a 10 star narrator

This is one of the best books I have listened to in a long time. The characters are so engaging, fully fleshed out, unique and lovable. The plot is fast-paced and I appreciate that there aren’t a lot of “shoe leather” type chapters that slow the narrative. If you need Tolkien style world building this isn’t the series for you, but if you like extremely well written characters who you will root for look no further. This may be a middle-grade book but adults will love it! The narrator, Samuel West, is one of my favorite British actors and he has put so much thought into his performance, it’s such a delight to listen to. He deserves awards for this performance. I hope he narrates the whole series.

Love the story!

Really thought this and Impossible. Creatures would be something else entirely, but it has been a wonderful adventure so far. The story line allows for the tale to continue book after book, introducing us to new adventures, creatures, old friends and more daring feats in a land most of us dream of at one point or another. Can’t wait for the next one!

Fantastic sequel

Rich and engaging adventure and coming of age story. Beautiful sequel expanding on the fantastical world building with even more Impossible Creatures. Poignant and meaningful dialogue and morals. The performance is fun, but unfortunately includes some characters talking presented so soft and others so loud that I found myself adjusting volume to protect my hearing.

Like experiencing Harry Potter for the first time

Every moment of this book is magical and captivating. I love the author's creativity and sense of humor. I can't wait for more of this series.

Wonderful sequel to Impossible Creatures

The second book in the series does not disappoint. It has its own storyline within this world and characters and creatures. I eagerly await the next installment.

Perfect narration with clever voices. Beautifully poetic, immersive writing. Not quite as enchanting as the first (which was outstanding), but still a lovely story.
