Publisher's summary

One Caribbean couples-only resort. Six friends who want to escape Brooklyn in the dead of winter. Two married couples. Two single fakers who hate each other’s freaking guts even though they accidentally made out once a million years ago, and now they have to share a freaking bed.

Love changes people.

I’ve seen what true love has done for my friends, and I want it for myself.

Somehow, I’m the only single guy left in our circle.

Somehow, Roxy Freaking Carter is the only single girl.

It’s the dead of winter. Our best friends are planning a getaway at a couples-only resort in the Caribbean, and I refuse to be left out in the cold.

All Roxy and I have to do is pretend we don’t despise each other for one week, in a room with only one bed, so we can spend some much-needed time with our favorite people.

We’ve been pretending we didn’t make out that one time at a wedding, so we both know how good we are at pretending.

All I have to do is convince Roxy that I’m not dying to kiss her again.

My new favorite enemies to lovers story

Enemies to lovers fans, meet your new favorite book! I loved it from the start. Roxy and Keaton are totally opposites. They can't stand each other. Well more Roxy can't stand him but he loves to push her buttons. They have to be in each others lives because they have mutual best friends and are god parents to the same boy. They end up going on a couples only vacation with their friends and pose as a couple. What is supposed to be fake starts to become so real. Then all they thought about each other is challenged. Did I mention they may have shared a kiss in the past? If you want hot steamy chemistry you have it in this book. I enjoyed it from the start to the end. While my heart was swooning, I was also cracking up at everyone's interactions. These narrators really were the perfect voices for these characters and brought them to life. I could totally picture them. Romance fans, make sure you check this one out.

Fantastic! #Roston4Eva

The Plus Ones is Kayley Loring's new laugh out loud enemies to lovers romance. This is my first book by Kayley and it definitely won't be my last. I had the pleasure of listening to this in audio and I was dying! Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie Cartwright were freaking fantastic! I didn't read the other books with some of the characters and I wasn't lost at all. I do wish that I had time to go back and read them though. Keaton and Roxy have the same friends. They are the only single ones so they end up together a lot. Their relationship has always been a little hate/love but when they kiss at their best friends' wedding, everything changes. Roxy avoids Keaton. For five years! She thinks he's a jerkface player who's pretentious and annoying. When all their married friends plan a couples only vacation and they aren't invited it stings. Until one of them has to drop out and Keaton and Roxy have to pretend to be in love. In the same room. In the same bed. Little by little Roxy sees a different side of Keaton. He's really nothing like she thought he was even if he doesn't wear socks with his loafers. He's actually nice, sweet, funny, caring and hopeful. Keaton always knew Roxy was knock out gorgeous and a total pain in his butt, but now he's seeing a fun loving side to her. They are actually getting to know each other. Sharing stories about their lives. And the attraction between them just grows and grows. There is no way Roxy is going to fall for Keaton effing Bridges. Nope. Not going to happen. But when did he get so handsome and thoughtful. Uh oh. Will they give in and jump each other? Will their friends freak out? What happens when they get back home? Oh man! I LOVED this story! It was to freaking GOOD! Their friends were so funny! Jackpot the dog, priceless! The writing is fantastic and the narration is one of the best I've listened to. I laughed from the first minute until the last and I will definitely be listening to this one again! I'm Team Keaton. #Roxton4Eva

***Foxy Roxy***

This was a quick, laugh out loud at times and swoon worthy read. I loved the banter the H and h shared. The group texts were hilarious with their group of friends. I could feel the tension transforming into love between the characters. I have read the prior books as well involving the supporting characters so it was nice to see them in this one also and get more of a further timeline on them.
The narrators did a great job. I really thought they brought the characters to life. I finished this with a big ole smile on my face with a hearts and swoon epilogue. Definitely recommend.

Loved it!

I loved this sweet story of two people who are part of the same friend group but not really friends. Keaton and Roxy are the only two single friends left in their group. It’s not that they don’t necessarily hate each other it’s that they really don’t know each others I LOVED reading about how they not only became friends but lovers. This book literally had me laughing out loud.

Frenemies to lovers

Keaton and Roxy are the only singles in their group of friends and after a little make out session at a wedding, they aren’t exactly fond of each other. When the opportunity arises where they can go to an island vacation, they both jump at the chance. The only problem is that it’s a couples only vacation and the only way they can go is to pretend to be a couple. The Plus Ones is a well written rom com. Some of the lines were so funny I was laughing out loud. I loved the characters and their dynamic. It has all of the elements that make up a perfect romcom. If you are like me and love rom coms I highly recommend this book. Mackenzie Cartwright and Teddy Hamilton’s narration was absolute perfection.

4.5 #RoxTon Stars!

I absolutely loved this sweet and steamy, enemies-to-lovers rom-com! Roxy and Keaton have a history through mutual friends. This story starts out 5 years previously at their best friends wedding when they both realize they want the kind of love and family that is alluding them both. They share a passionate kiss but Roxy pulls back knowing they are too different. Roxy comes from hard working blue collar parents, and Keaton was raised with privilege. But privilege doesn't always mean life is perfect. Keaton acted out as a young adult but has become a better man. Roxy doesn't want to believe it and tries to ignore her attraction to him, realizing that he could destroy her heart. In present time, Roxy and Keaton have only interacted with antagonistic banter and snarky comments. Now they have a chance to go to a tropical getaway with their friends, but are force to pretend to be a couple to do it. This leads to so many awkward and hilarious moments but some very hot and sexy times too! This is such a refreshing and fun romance. Keaton is so kind, thoughtful, and deliciously dirty, while Roxy is smart, and funny. I loved them both and thought they made a perfect pair.
Mackenzie Cartwright and Teddy Hamilton were so perfectly cast to narrate this hilarious and heartwarming romance. They did a great job embodying these characters and setting the stage for all the fun, and excitement to come. Both narrators have a wonderful range of voices and expressions that I love to get lost in and make this story even better. This is my first book by Loring and I loved it and can't wait to check out more of her work!
