Faith lives in the west of Ireland with her husband, four children and two very fussy cats. She has an Hons Degree in English Literature and Psychology, has worked as a fashion model and in the intellectual disability and mental health sector.

My third Faith Hogan book. Dissapointed

The storyline wasn’t particularly engaging. I’m also not fond of books that portray mothers with obvious favourite children — the sort they claim to “understand and relate to better” — especially when it is made so blatantly clear.
Leaving aside the brother, who seemingly hasn’t done an honest day’s work in his life, there are also two sisters, both hardworking in their own ways.
The younger sister is creative, enjoys the outdoors, had a ten-year affair with a married man, worked for an impressive fashion company, and generally embraces life. The older sister is more detail-oriented, prefers numbers, isn’t particularly outdoorsy, has been married for twenty years, and is deeply committed to the family business, where she has worked alongside her mother for most of her life. She is portrayed as working so hard that she hardly has any time to enjoy her own life.
