Loved this story

A wonderful, sweet story. Vividly written. An enjoyable quick read. I could not put it down!!

fun read/listen.

I really am enjoying these stories that seem so purely modern, American and simple, yet are vividly sensual. The story is so good in this one, that I found myself zoning out a bit during the racy scenes and picking back up when our hero or heroin got back to their lives. I love the animal influence in this series. I can't have any pets, so I like to hear of the sort of companionship they offer. A really good read, but I do recommend reading all of these Herkness' books in order, or you may be at a loss.

Outstanding And Full Of Emotion

I LOVE IT! The story brings you to a wonderful place where you find it suits for escaping from the hideous past and eventually to settle down. I also find it amusing how on earth the author manage to interweave the two giant different professions; a veterinarian and world famous chef to fall in love to each other. Love the author and the narrator, they've done a great job.
