Peter is 13 years old. He is also the only survivor in his hometown, Rockville, of the zombie apocalypse. With the streets overrun by undead residents, Peter has taken refuge in the town's water tower. Safe from the hungry zombies, he passes time playing video games and eating junkfood. But as the familiar citizens become more fixated on young Peter, he finds he will have to make a choice that could change his life, for better or worse.

Just when I thought ...

The Pied Piper of the Undead definitely EXCEEDED my expectations. I've been about zombies since I was 8 and watched NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD BY THE WIZARD R....

anyway- moving on, I thought the genre had pretty much played itself out. Wait! A grisly LD tale through the eyes of a 13 year boy Survivor? Hmmm ...
Use a credit - purchase it. Do what you need to do... But get this audio book.
I don't do "fave moments"... They are like spoilers. I definitely had my own favorite moments, but I will let you choose your own dear reader. This LD tale comes at you from a fresh perspective, and before you protest that 13 year old boys do not act or think this way. I invite you to come and hang out as a Teacher for a day. I've been a soldier and a Jr high teacher. I would be a soldier again .... Well anyway

Good Read

Great story. I love how Peter, a 13 year old boy managed to survive in a town full of zombies. The way he gets around reminded me of when I was 13 jumping from roof to roof. I will be looking for more stories from this author.

I had fun reading this short zombie book! It was enjoyable and had a really different view on life with the zombies.
