hate to love, love to hate

Been waiting to find out about Blithe and Rue for a hot minute and this story DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!! Gena did it again do not listen to chapter 29 while driving I had to pull over and fan myself because oh man did Gena out do herself with that one. This story was classic Showalter, combat, blood, seduction and of course a tidbit of organ stealing thrown in to spice it up a bit. I love this story !!!

Gena just has a dark sense of humor that makes you laugh out loud. I really don't know how she comes up with so many different frases or saying.

Gina Showalter does it again!!! I’m never disappointed with any book that this lady comes out with! I’ve read just about everything she’s put out, and it just keeps getting better! This one was not any different! Story line kept me listening, and before I knew it, it was over much to my disappointment lol!

vengeance turns to love

I loved this book, especially the second half! I have a big soft spot for harpies, organ stealing ones like Blythe are the best, enemies to lovers and multiple battles to the death. Thankfully this book has them all! If you're into mutilation and pain as foreplay this book is definitely right up your alley. No judgment here 😏

When these two were announced as the next book couple I knew it would be a wild ride, Gena did not disappoint! How do you not just get over but fall in love with the man responsible for taking the life of your consort in front of you and your daughter Isla? I honestly went into this wondering if Gena could pull off the impossible after she backed herself into a corner like that in the previous books. I never should have doubted her!

I really loved how a lot of this book made me feel like I was stepping right back into The Lords Of The Underworld series with all the harpies and their messed up harpy games and psychotic turn ons 🤣 Who doesn't love some murder and mayhem before you get it on with your man, am I right or am I right?

I can't wait for the next book and the couple in it! It's going to be a long awaited on and I can't freaking wait! Hopefully one day we also see what Isla grows up to be and maybe just maybe she will meet the children, Urban and Ever, from the very first book couple that started us on this wonderfully amazing wild ride in The Darkest Night 🌙 ❤️

Pretty good story. I like the intrigue and the plot twists but hate @comvrnient” solutiobs that seem to come out of left field. Not really a solution when only the first part of a challenge or riddle is met. As in “oops I conveniently planned to die to satisfy the challenge” but then the character goes on living. Just one example.

Liked the original vibe to this one, for some reason I completely forgot what happened in Ophelia's book but this one I won't forget , mother daughter story line with a virgin? Yeah that's new . Great hot and good enemies to lovers story
