Major Cliffhanger!!!!
Like many of Blake Pierce’s books, this book has both a primary and a subplot. The main plot is described in the publisher’s summary and needs no more information.
It’s the underlying secondary story that really held my attention. An adversary of Jesse Hunt’s mentor (Garland Moses) has resurfaced since hearing of his death. At one time Moses came very close to putting an end to him. Up for a new challenge this prolific serial killer has decided to put Jesse Hunt to a test. He wants to see if Jesse is as good as Moses. I believe this sets up the next book in the series because it ends with a cliffhanger.
Ulka Mohanty does an excellent job narrating.
This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
