Who owns the knife?

This is book 16 in the Jesse Hunt series and it’s not getting old or boring. The plots change from each book and I am still intrigued and entertained.

"She should have known better"

Oh, my goodness.

What kind of world is this! I can't even begin to imagine the world or the lives of the people Jessie's cases involve.

$1000 for one meal!?! That's just insane!

I LOVE this series and all the characters and the twists.

And I am still holding out hope that all is not lost, that certain people will make the correct choices in the end.

I REFUSE to give up hope.

Onto Book #17

Narrator sounds like AI

I love this series and almost at the end. The stories are great and love the characters, but changing up the narrator every book is my only complaint. This one in particular is making the book hard to listen to.

Great story; very bad performance

The story is so interesting and I would have loved it but the narrator ruined the book. No emotion and at times it sounded like a beginner reader was reading the story (pause after each word). I really like this series and after waiting so long for book 15 to be available book 16 was such a let down just because of the narrator. So disappointed to see she narrated the next few books too.

This is the worst narration I’ve ever experienced

The narrator is awful. Pauses at the weirdest times and seems like she’s reading the book for the first time and she’s whispering the entire time.

SO ANNOYING.

I Undersand narrators change but why do the names and accents change. Hate it.

Reader sounds robotic

Is the reader real or AI generated. Poor at presenting a range of voices and almost completely lacks emotion.

Great Book. Terrible Reader

I loved the story. As always, Blake Pierce did not disappoint! However, the reader was the worst. it made this book hard to get through. inflection in the wrong places, emphasis on the wrong syllables, tone was all wrong even when the book specifically tells how the character sounded, her voice did not reflect that.

The books good - Narrator ruined it

The book is good and I enjoyed continue to follow the story . However this was the worst narrator ever! Very robotic and no emotion or connection to the characters. I could have read better myself . It was hard to listen but I wanted to hear the story . Very dissatisfied with the narrator
