Good story

I thought it was a good story. Great narration. A little hard to follow for a minute, but all came together.

Something different

I wanted something different. Well, I got it. I admit that I was guessing who done it all the way up to the very end. But I have to admit that if you hate listening to women overthink and complain then this might not be the book for you. Of course all that is necessary to set the scene. I am not one to start a book and not finish it. And I did finish in just a couple days.

Okay book

Kind of hard to follow with so many characters and situations appearing. Readers were good.

Narrator for Margaret.... ruined it.

I just couldn't handle one of the narrators, especially when she was reading a man's part. The story was good, okay. Towards the end, there were unpredictable twists but they didn't really wow me or make me gasp.

2.5 rounded up

Not for me. Unlikable characters In unbelievable situations all the way to an unsatisfying conclusion. Cloying saccharine dialogue and sentiment punctuated with lots of the “F” word feels like trying to cover all bases without really creating a consistent tone.

Great Thriller

So many good twists and turns! Enjoyed it very much and the narrator was good also.

Kept me interested, but narration could be better

I did enjoy the book, but the narrator for Margaret really got under my skin with the over-pronunciation of every single word. I was always relieved when the part for Margaret was finished.

I'm pretty good at guessing the end! A lot of great twists! I was so wrong!

Bit of a stretch

One of the narrators was great (Sam), but the other did not sound like the character she was portraying; her cadence was a little halting and off.

The story was also a bit of a stretch; the introduction of a new character to be the villain was unsatisfying.

A unexpected surprise!

I loved this book. The performances were good, the storyline, it was unexpected and captivating. I really enjoyed this book.
