Good But Not Great

The extraordinary story continues. It begins to get much more complicated here — harder to keep up with names and historical events and their relationship to what appears to be going on. Part of the difficulty in this book is the performance of Rebecca Rainsford as she narrates. While she is beyond extremely talented, it broke down in this book. She changed the voices and, hence, personality of one or two of the lead characters and seemed to have a bit of trouble with her transition from one character to the next throughout. There are still tons of surprises and suspense, fun dialog, and the continuation of a beautiful love story in quite unusual circumstances. Can’t wait to see what the next book brings us!

backbone

I think the only reason I continue this story is to see if Keira ever gains a backbone. is it so much to ask for a real conversation with her and Dom.

Poor Kira that girl just can't catch a break. Lol smh. I'm anxiously waiting for Kira's full power to explode. I'm still hooked on this series like a moth to a flame. On to the next book...😉

Love the story

I love this story. All the characters feel like friends and family. I am not a fan of cliff hangers and this was no exception, but I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book.

OMG

Ok. So Keira really made me mad in this one. Really! Got a new man so soon?! Thank the gods (as they say) for Dom's tenacity. We see more of his feelings in this one and not just the "She is mine!" mentality. There was a lot of slow parts (but again, a lot needing to be explained). But the ending! OMG! Another heart wrencher!

Strange Storyline.. but in too far to quit now

Strange storyline, but I in too far to quit now. So disappointed in Lucious' voice! He's such a cool character to have such disappointing voice.

Half the book

Narrator seems to be getting better at performing but accents are still odd and off. Really irritating that they split this book in two. Makes me feel cheated. Pretty soon audible will try to charge by word and the only thing I'll be able to listen to is crappy novellas. In fact those 6 to 9 hour books should be half a credit. Grr
