A good overview of calming an anxious mind. I tend to be a naturally nervous person and am always worrying about things. I suffer from anxiety and have read multiple self-help books on the topic. But I still learned new things from this book. This was the first time I was introduced to ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and the fear ladder. I really appreciated the strong connection Adedapo made between peace and clear, kind communication. It's a simple and powerful observation that often gets overlooked. Pointing out active listening's role in building peace was important for me too. I did wish the author put more emphasis on seeking professional help when needed instead of the quick mention in the last chapter. I also wish "faith" had just been defined as "Christianity" as it was the only faith mentioned. But I do recommend this book for its clear instructions and practice sessions that end each chapter. It's very helpful.
