More of Exactly What We Wanted.

I've loved the entire Oklar series for a number of reasons, but the pacing and consistent world building has remained impressive this entire time. Romances aren't ruining character developments, me characters aren't retconning existing characters, it's all just very well written. the trouble with fantasy series making their main character less and less likable as the series goes on just isn't an issue here, and it's very refreshing to be able to have trust and faith in the series, and B.T. Narro as an author.

Good book, but needs more creativity

It’s a great book. And definitely my favorite genre. I’m all about slow burn, but the demigod isn’t all that talented. He does the same damn things. And they keep getting beaten the same way. I hope the next book comes up with some new ideas. The end of the story seems to be going in that direction.

The relationship is mind numbingly frustrating

It's a great book with a good story Line and good character variations. But the "Romance" makes the MC feel like such a Beta male, it clashes with the cool persona that the the author wants us to see. The romance is made for a 13 year old chick flick drama.

I can’t stress enough how awesome this book is I was hooked since the first one and jumped on all the others ^.^ it’s amazing how it has progressed just about everyone has made significant progress 0.0 a lot of puzzle pieces come together while the three of val gets more intense but of courses the narration is on point as always Simon Vance is just the best

I really like every book alot! I have to stop listening on weekdays before bed. I can't loose anymore sleep from this addiction!

Good story

Entertaining story. I will continue the series. I plan to download more of Narro’s stories.

Another Great Adventure

This series just keeps getting better. With the introduction of new characters and the development of others. Simon Vance is a brilliant narrator who brings this story to life! You won’t be disappointed.

Entertaining Listen

John's emotions are unsettled as conflicted feelings about the girls in his life arise with changing circumstances. The war with with the rogue demigod and the neighboring Kingdom is heating up. The narrator brings sharpened emotional feeling to the story. I like the action, humor, intrigue, and romance. I look forward to the next book.

I am loving BT Narro and his characters and world building. I will say though with this story in particular the pacing is all over the place and the love interests and lack thereof seem a little forced. That being said the story itself is amazing. I’ve never been an epic fantasy reader but BT Narro has introduced me to a whole new world of reading

Worth the read!!

Can't wait for the next one. I like that the story movies quickly and keeps you engaged.
