Right up there with The Alice Network, Ragged Edge of Night, Beneath a Scarlet Sky! I loved this book and the characters. I found myself sitting in my garage listening because I didn’t wanna stop! Best new author! (New to me)!

Wonderful read!
It has been a while since I couldn’t leave a book, but this one was adventurous in most of it and had parts that had me laughing as I imagined the scene! This book has me looking anxiously for the next part of the story! Sad it was over!

Very good
Overall the story was interesting, action kept everything moving well, the ending left too many loose ends. I love the characters but again too much left up in the air or not well explained at the end.
Justine Eyre is an excellent narrator and I will be looking for more books that use her unique style!

Awful ending. Foolish female protagonist and too many ridiculous flights through many countries. I didn’t consider this a good historical fiction. Some twists and turns and characters involved were confusing.

Started this book with enthusiasm as I am addicted to World War 2 stories BUT this story about Stella and Nicky running thru countries was so ridiculous it was laughable. I couldn’t finish it. I enjoyed the narrator who was excellent…

Disappointing ending
considering the topic it ended up being a great read with a lot of interesting twists. I really enjoyed reading it, however, was so disappointed with the flat ending. They could’ve joined the resistance or many other endings but it didn’t work.

Great story line
Narration good. Storyline very good. Lots of twists and turns and gives an insight into how the Germans treated the Jews just before the start of WW II.

Maybe suitable for younger demographic
The story had potential but I think was designed for a younger demographic. An abundance of unnecessary description drove me crazy and didn't move the story forward so seemed unnecessary.

A wild journey!
A couple on their honeymoon have quite a wild journey and never a dull moment! Great story. Characters you'll love (and some you will hate, but that's ok - we are supposed to hate them!). I really enjoyed this one and was sorry when it was over.
