In the shadow of World War II, a young woman’s life is forever changed.

Krista Schulz, a 17-year-old German girl living in Poland, faces a harrowing loss as the Nazi occupation shatters her peaceful life. After witnessing the brutal murder of her beloved grandparents, the Nazis are now hunting her. Krista flees her village, carrying the weight of unanswered questions and a heart heavy with grief.

Determined to survive and find purpose in the chaos, Krista makes her way to Warsaw. As she grows from a frightened young girl into a resolute young woman, Krista discovers the strength within herself to navigate the dangers of war and aid those in need. But it’s not long before the past catches up with her in the most unexpected of ways.

The Clover Girls’ Network is a poignant coming-of-age story that captures the quiet strength of a young woman swept up in the turmoil of history. It’s a tale of loss, love, and the unbreakable bonds of friendship that can illuminate even the darkest of times.

it's an amazing story. to know that a teenager could go from the comfort of a loving family to being completely on her own. we don't give teenagers enough responsibility or the initiative to do things on their own in this time that we live. during world war II these children learned how to survive and thrive without being coddled. a story any young teenager could learn not only history but how to be independent thanks for themselves. I thought it was a great story. the narrating needs improving as far as pronunciation inflection and warmth.

Strong Smart Girl

This is a well written book. Unfortunately, the monotone narrator ruined it. I listened for many hours and was extremely disappointed. it could've been so much better. No more visual voice books for me.

Lost The Story

I really dislike the AI voice. All the voices are the same and little to no emotion. The mispronunciation was not as bad as I’ve seen it, it just would have been so much better if it was a real person.

I really enjoyed her resilience. The strength she carried. It was inspiring.

The book is good. A different narrator is needed. This narrator makes tge book sound immature and juvenile.

Interesting historical fiction

Not a fan of audio voice. It doesn’t pronounce the words correctly. The story was pretty good. I wonder how much was based on facts?
