A new mythos of shifters

These stories introduce an interesting and entertaining cast of characters. Some are easy to like, while others are easy to hate. There are multiple POVs, which allows for some twists in the story and develops the characters more fully.

The world building is imaginative and a unique take on the different kinds of shifters. There's a bit of history, Merlin mythology, adventure, action, and drama. Parts of the stories do get dark. The bad guy truly is a villain, and he commits horrifying crimes.

Matthew Hamblin performed the collection and did a great job with the narration and characters.

Lots of action

Can’t seem to stop listening to it. Great story. Love this type of storyline, I’m glad that it’s a continuing series. Should be made into a show. Narrator does a fantastic job with dramatic scenes, I feel as I’m in the same room with the characters. Highly recommend.

Very interesting story

As the title says, I found the story very interesting. However, I did have some problems with it more due to the number of flashbacks that occur without explanation until after they have finished. It gave the story a more 'Tell' feeling rather than 'Show'.

Narration was okay. There's nothing really wrong with the style that was used, but for me it made the story feel kind of dry.

very interesting

The story was very interesting. I did enjoy it. Had alot of flashbacks and didn't give you much warning so It was sometimes hard to understand. Lots of twist and turns.

I love a 3 for 1 value!

This is a very interesting story on shapeshifters and werewolves! Lots of twists and turns,it has some history from WW2, I like storylines with magic and shapeshifters. The books are well written, but I disliked some of the back and forth, but when some of the characters are from Merlin’s time,I guess that can’t be helped.I recommend these books, and I’m looking forward to hearing book four.
