Intriguing and captivating!

Loved the exposition of the storyline. This was a great read. Captivating story from the beginning.

Thrilling thriller and great narration

I’d never read a book in the medical thriller genre before and it worked for me. It was engaging and entertaining. Good book. I say give this a go even if you've never tried out this genre before.

As you probably know, a narrator can totally make or break an already great book. I’ve had to stop listening to what were probably good books, but I just couldn’t take the narrator’s voice. The narrator for this one, who happens to be a friend of mine, totally nails it. I was a bit nervous going in because I don’t know what I’d have done if he'd been awful. Luckily, he’s a great narrator and I don’t have to worry about that now. 10/10 will listen to more books he narrates. I look forward to finding more books he's narrated.

A Great Audible!!

If you LOVE this story, then you must listen to the Trilogy! I did and I enjoyed all of the stories. Great Narration!

WOW, that was intense!

The author is a ex heart surgeon who is is now an author of medical thrillers. The Organ Takes is Book 1 of the David McBride Trilogy. The suspense is incredible. The novel was first published in 2014 and was made available in audio format last week. Books 2 and 3 in the series are already available in various formats and should be released soon in audio format. The publisher's summary is excellent but tells a bit more than I prefer. Joel Richards narrates very well indeed.

The Organ Takers is a standalone, but it does end in a mild cliffhanger. This novel has my Highest Recommendation.

Truly captivating

I was so into the story that I wanted to keep driving to hear more! I immediately started The Organ Growers, and am anxiously awaiting #3!

Great Medical Suspence!

I loved the book, but ended as a cliff-hanger. Many twists and turned kept it interesting. Is there a book 2?

Terrible ending

This story has an absolutely horrible ending! Nothing happy about this one. I do not recommend.

Don’t waste time or credit

Highly disappointing. I re started several times. The idea of the book is interesting but I just could not get into this book no matter what.
