This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Great introduction to The Great War
I will readily acknowledge knowing too little about The Great War. I came across the print of this novel a year ago, and the audiobook has only enriched my experience. I will miss the characters in this book so much. Equally, I am new to Victoria Purman and am so glad to have read this.

Excellent story
Brilliant story and beautifully performed. Excellent depth to all the characters . Ending s little disappointing as the characters felt a bit cut short and not as well-rounded as the rest of the story.
