Publisher's summary

Ochoie's magical, highly original The Night's Fable takes listeners from the underbelly of New York to the Mystic Realm, populated by celestial deities, winds and whispers, luminaries and lechers. When Night falls mysteriously ill, his devious brother assumes his duties and sets in motion an intricate series of events involving balls, romances, double-crosses, secret missions, and even a forbidden prophecy. The only way to restore natural order is for the Night to find his Chosen One, a creature who turns out to be the most unexpected hero of all. Funny, playful, and profound, The Night's Fable delights and entertains.

Absolutely Dreadful

I couldn’t make it through 15 mins as the narrator sounds like she’s reading through a busted speaker. If you like the white noise then this book is for you. With every word, the speaker hashed and crackled. I switch devices and still got the same effect. But the book is for children, it’s like a bedtime story about night, day, the sun and etc. I like fables but the narrator is absolutely dreadful.
