An enjoyable book

I enjoyed every minute of the mystery and the adventure! I would definitely recommend this book to people of all ages!

It was pretty great! Fun and light, but also a bit dark. There were many characters, but I could remember them all. Overall sweet.

I love the accents, it really brings the story to life.

I didn’t really have any dislikes I loved the story and how it ended. I love a story that’s hard to predict.

Great for Harry Potter fans, I thought the mystery was interesting but definitely not as good as the Truly Devious series.

Keeps you interested

Wonderful performance and story. It really was a perfect balance of character development and engaging storyline. We had to finish the book in one day because it was keep us at the edge of our seats. Loved it.
The performance was soooooo good. The accents were enjoyable to listen to and made the storyline come alive.

The girl who read the story was great with action and acting out the story/ characters and her voice is super soothing

I loved everything nothing bad in my opinion it’s a great mystery with crazy(ish) twists!!

The magic never came

I don’t blame the author or the summary; I blame the reviewer who said this would please Harry Potter fans. This is not fantasy; this is middle school mystery, like Nancy Drew.

As a boarding school mystery, this was okay. It’s quite the slow burn and the motivations for certain adults to be cryptic, while at the same time sending Emma towards known peril, aren’t very credible.

On the plus side, this is child friendly, with only Saturday TV levels of danger.
