Do you want to discover how to manage your negative self-talk so you can begin to live that life you truly know you deserve, without having to make drastic changes, even if you’ve struggled up to now for months, maybe years? The author, in his younger days, suffered from anxiety and thought very differently than he does today because he didn’t understand the principles provided to you in this audiobook. Story
Anna Issac's choices are bleak. Suicide is more appealing than marrying the revolting Frenchman her spiteful brother has chosen for her. The only other option is to beg a man she barely knows, a Highlander, to help her run away. Escape would be a challenge for any 15-year-old, but it is particularly difficult for a Jewess living in 17th century Scotland. Anna's tale would have remained a secret, except three centuries later the death of Hanna Duncan's father on 9/11 unleashes a chain of events that leads her to an ancient key with a peculiar etching.

A unique, alternative future of Britain
Received as a review copy from the author, this is an honest review. Narrated by Craig Bowles, this is really intriguing alternative history story surrounding what if Diana had lived and married Dodi Fayed. The story that is centered around the relationship between prince James and princess Malika of Saudi Arabia and how their deepening companionship and upcoming marriage will alter the British monarchy. For some influential people within the government, they aren't happy with the relationship but are disturbed that James has become a Muslim; and they hatch a way to the two apart with tragic consequences. It's a wickedly smart story that makes you think about who has the right to determine who a person loves and the stark viewpoints surrounding beliefs about other religions. Highly recommended.

Very entertaining short story of 'what if'
This story continues from the authors previous novel “Chronoscape”. It is a short, entertaining story with great narration by Craig Bowles.
If Diana had lived what might have happened. In this she is married to Dodi Fray. Prince Charles becomes king then Prince William. The story focuses on Prince William's son, her grandson, who falls in love with a Saudi princess.

Diving into an alternative future...
The Muslim Prince is a short story that dives further into events that are occasionally (but briefly) referenced in the main novel "Chronoscape" following one fateful intervention with events that happened in Chronoscape.
Diana and Dodi Fayed are still alive and well. The story primarily follows their grandson James and his falling in love with a Saudi princess, building a family with her - and fighting the very set-in-their-opinions old guard of the British government and establishment.
Meanwhile, the fly drone operator Mary is very conflicted between the goals of her job assignments, secondary directives and her personal consciences and we get to watch her mindset evolve, change and eventually put her into some amount of danger, too.
What I love is that Ley portrays all the leading characters with a lot of care and respect, as listener/reader you really get to connect with them. There is certainly a portion of manipulation happening, but it blooms into real love.
It fits really nicely into Chronoscape; I listened to both titles back to back and don't regret it, it was the perfect addendum.
Craig Bowles did a great job narrating the title - as usual :)

"God save the king."
An alternate history which posits the question of what might have happened had Princess Diana had not died in the Paris car crash but instead had stayed with, and married, Dodi, converting to the Muslim faith.
This is a short futuristic story encompassing love, hard and political manoeuvring, simply and believable told and nicely narrated by Craig Bowles. I was fortunate in being freely gifted with a complimentary copy of The Muslim Prince by the rights holder, at my request. Thank you.
Alternate histories are always interesting to consider - so much is possible with simple shifts of circumstance. Quick to read and thought provoking: I was surprised at the emotions is initiated in myself. Recommended

Mind blown on this one!
This book is a HUGE What If? How would the world be different had Diana not died? Not only that, the other questions I could myself asking is, how would have her sons have ended up with her around? Would they have married the same people? Would they still be close?
This book took me down a road I was not prepared for, but even after remembering that this book is a WHAT IF story, it was interesting to see how things could have been.

So far I have loved every book I read by Roger Lay and the Muslim prince is no exception. The narration and the story were both excellent, although I thought the story could’ve been longer it had a satisfying ending in a such an original plot I loved it and can’t wait to read more by this author. A question many have asked.
I can see the appeal of The Muslim Prince though it is a far cry from what I would normally read. In speculating on what might have been, Roger Ley tells a story of how Diana's extension of the family might have impacted the Royal House of Windsor. A story of politics and plots, of love and of lies, The Muslim Prince is worth a listen, especially with Craig Bowles narrating.

Mind blowing!
This isn't my first encounter with the imagination of Roger Ley, and I assure you it won't be my last. I don't know where he gets his ideas from but I am so glad he writes them down. This story takes you on a journey you won't be expecting. I was listening with my politically correct head on, but my heart kept thinking, 'don't mess with the monarchy'. I was never sure who's side I was on, as I kept switching allegiance all over the place. Wonderfully narrated by the enormously talented Craig Bowles, this book will leave you with a lot to think about. I've listened to it twice now and I'll be revisiting it again. Clever, inspired and brilliantly executed - this is one not to be missed.

A very interesting story!
This story has everything, drama, romance, politics, religion, however there is just enough of each of these aspects so you won't get bored by any of it.
The author has portrayed a fantastic twist and has told a brilliant story of what life would habe been like if princess Diana had not died!
The story made me smile, and cry!! I loved the interaction between Camilla and Diana...always wondered what Diana would have thought of Camellia being the queen.
So if you've ever wondered what it would have been like if Diana lived and married a Muslim Dodi and the future of the monarchy then this is the book for you!!
I just want to end with a few words for the narrator!! I Iisten to a lot of audio books. this guy was amazing. From articulating Arabic words/phrases, accents and different voices...he made the words come alive and I could imagine each scene playing out as a movie. fantastic!

Another great listen. So believable
I listened to this book after listening to the first one in the series (they don't follow but are interlinked), it added to the background of the story and I was so intrigued to get more information which enhanced my understanding of the first book.
I could potentially understand how this could have happened remembering the hysteria when Diana died.
My only criticism, and this is selfish, is I wanted more of the story - I didn't want it to stop.
Can't forget to mention that the narrator just added an extra layer to the story.
I am following both author and narrator now.
I was given a free copy by the author in exchange for an honest review which I have done.

What would happen if she didn’t die?
I love Rogers book (especially as my husband appears to be a time traveller in one of them) and was not disappointed with this one. In this story we look at what would happen if Princess Diana had not died and has married Dodi Fayed. Add into the mix her Grandson who although next in line to the thrown wants to convert to Islam. This story defiantly makes you think and although I would hope in reality as a country we would not be so narrow minded I do feel that a lot of the issues and concerns raised in this book would still be prevalent if this was to occur. I really enjoyed the story and it certainly makes you think.
