Publisher's Summary

In this epic culmination of the series, in a war in which thousands are dying, Desil must protect the only thing that can stop the massacre. But there is little he can do with only two allies. They must somehow elude their many enemies while figuring out how to unite their comrades, who face seemingly insurmountable challenges of their own. There is no room for error, no time to hide. The only way success even seems possible is with a plan that might just destroy part of Desil’s world.

A nice wrap-up to a nice tale.

I'll say only this, that I subscribed to Audible because I absolutely had to finish this trilogy. So it's worth it!

The whole story was amazing but Simon Vance made it so much better. Always love it when he reads.

Good start of a series, lackluster finish

First 2 books were great, but it's like author gave up and just spat out a formulaic finish that seemed.. Shallow and couldn't keep my interest. Had such potential it was very disappointing.

Overall I liked it but...

I think I've been spoiled by narrators that use multiple voices to change between characters.

sub standard

I expected more from the 3rd book but the book dragged and I found it difficult to finish. some action at the end as you would expect but I was disappointed with Desil for not being curious enough with his abililities and experimenting. I like the narrators performance.
