Publisher's summary

Ash and Drew are back in a heartwarming holiday story!

With both Chanukah and Grandmother Esther’s 95th birthday approaching, the latkes are ready, the presents are wrapped, and bring on the delicious dinner. Ash Davis has a gift for Esther, and he hasn’t even told Drew what it is.

His husband has a secret of his own that might derail their holiday plans before they begin, but Ash and Drew have been together long enough to weather anything life throws at them. Not even a health scare can keep the Hell and Back family from celebrating the festival of lights and rejoicing in the miracle that connects them all.

Love.

This is an 18,000-word short story featuring all your favorite characters from the Through Hell and Back series, a few surprise appearances, and one jealous cat.

Heartwarming holiday story,

The Miracle was a heart warming holiday story, Although it's part of a series, featuring an already established couple, I didn't feel lost or as if I was missing anything. It did make me want to go back, though, and read the previous books- I love these characters and it sounds like their stories will be very compelling!

You could really feel the love between Ash and Drew and I want to see where it all started for them. I loved how supportive and caring they both were, the same for their friends. What a wonderful family they've made, with those of blood and those they've found.

Kale Williams was a great choice for the narrator, his performance made a lovely story even moreso.

A Wonderful Hanukkah novella

The Through Hell and Back series is one of my favorites, so I was super excited we were going to get another glimpse of Ash and Drew. Then we got this wonderful Hanukkah novella In audio?! I couldn’t be more excited to listen. As usual, Kale did a fantastic job bringing Ash and Drew back to life for me. It was so good to see more of Ash and Drew, and the wonderful miracle they experienced together. You could really feel all the love between these two men. The family they have surrounded themselves with, including Jordan, Luke, Brandon and Tash, truly is a miracle. And Esther. I just adore her. This novella left me with a strong desire for some delicious latkes and a re-read, or a re-listen of one of my favorite series!
