Branding, a vindictive coworker and maybe romance…

DI Louise Blackwell has settled into the small town of Weston with her young niece and parents. What was supposed to be a demotion has worked out for Louise. The latest case is a strange one…someone is attacking ppl and branding them. Things heat up when the attacks turn to murder. As Louise and team search for a killer, she’s also dealing with her nemesis, DCI Finch…and her growing feelings for her team mate Thomas. Whew! Lots going on in this book that you won’t want to stop. Looking forward to seeing more Louise Blackwell cases!!

this ws a very well plotted story. I enjoyed it to the end and looking forward to more from this author.

Suspenseful

This fourth book in the series (each could be read alone) was very suspenseful. Enjoyed it much more than the third book.

Yay Louise!

Finally, Finch gets his due. This case was a tangled mess to unwind. The perpetrator was a whack job. And change is on the horizon for Louise. Bring on book five!

A great series to jump into

I love love this series. I really appreciate that. The crimes are all layered some very interesting. The characters grow and there’s a lot of development. It’s just a really good read.
