"She emerged within a dark sea of green, shielding her eyes against the crescent moon’s pale blaze. The twinkling stars hummed softly, discordant against the chattering birds below. The lush leaves rippled in the breeze, tempting Fi to dip her toes in for a swim. The wind blew at her back, and she turned east to face it. The fresh air carried the salty spray of the Shimmering Sea. Although she could not see it, she knew it was right there. Her ears caught the distant waves crashing against the shore. Entertaining

Fernandes writes a grandly entertaining adventure in The Many Adventures of Peter and Fi. I first read the book, and then I listened to it. I enjoyed both versions, with the narration making the story come to life. It was an enjoyable, easy and fast-paced story. I liked the characters, and how they were brought to life. It was full of action and adventure, while taking the reader/listener on a journey. A wonderful fantasy story that brings the reader into the imagination of this author. Very well written, and while character and plot driven. A great read. Definitely, a great read. I look forward to reading more by this author. This book is definitely recommended by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews.

Give this story and honest try.

The book has the feel of a few short stories but because it's the same characters and in an order that makes sense you get a greater view of the world the author is looking to show. I believe that of the author continues to build on this world the stories will be endless but also very enjoyable for the reader/listeners. The narration was ok, not the best but for an author that's reading their own story it was one of the best I've comes across. I will be getting the next book when it's released.
