Very Well Conveyed To Us By The Narrator's
Well said!!! Although Hank's story is slightly different then mine, he is very relatable both to myself and my wife. I just replaced his pornography addiction with my own horrific ordeal and the verbage can stay the same with the same motives, and insane reasonings that I used as well as Hank used to promote and validate his own actions to himself. It's uncanny how many things Hank explains what he did, not only physically, but mentally to allow himself permission to continue on his eight year cheating journey. My wife can relate to Hank's wife in as far as she also said her married life of 37 years is now over as she knows it, and all her memories during my acting out years are completely altered for ever, and a new marriage had to be born in order for my wife to continue to be with me. This book is very useful and at the same time it helps the reader, especially if the reader like myself and my wife have been through infidelity and addiction. The book confirms that my wife's reactions are very, very normal and what she was feeling and at times still continues to feel is not "crazy." This book is totally worth the time and money for sure.

Powerful Book!
This booked helped me understand my trauma as a youth, and how it is easy for my pride to reject the idea that I can still allow my past hurt to hurt my family in the present. I love Hank’s transparency and honesty. Also, Aixa’s bravery and commitment to God and her husband while he went through his darkest moments is supernatural.

Great Read
This was a great view into how small things that we inadvertently do everyday have a big impact on our relationships with family, friends, and God. It’s not that we have to be perfect, but we need to find our “frequency” and always get back there.
