So after the 4th book saying that I needed more because I felt like I needed to know where life took my now FAVORITE Characters of ANY series of books I have ever read! And now reading this I know that I am UTTERLY SELFISH because I still want moorrreeee like I need to know if Jersey is making that move with Zay and is Kennedy going to overcome yet another obstacle on her trip and I want to see my babies Trinity and Journey grow and etc etc like I feel like I’m going through such a bad break up right now....hopefully in the near future we will get that! Please tell me it’s not over because I’m a sucker for happy endings lol overall this series has floored me and as I have stated before WE NEED A MOVIE OR SERIES SIS!

Prototype

I really want to see them in concert because you can’t tell me they not the most talented group out. I love reading about each and every one of these four couples. Such passion between them. Such admiration for each other and loyalty. It’s special.

Lyrical excellence

It’s no mistake that Jacinta Howard has had a career in musical journalism, because her words have an ebb and flow just like your favorite song. The Glimpses follow up on the story of the characters from the Prototype series, chronicling the challenges of young people finding their way in adult lives and relationships. Howard is a slow burn and it’s divine; she builds the story in a way that makes you ache for the resolution, and when she brings it, it’s all the way brought. The heat in this story is palpable, and Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem delivered their interpretations of these emotional moments with precision. They are always a powerful narration duo, but this series brings out a tenderness and vulnerability in their vocals that’s absolutely special.

5 stars for The Love Below.

I Really Enjoyed This Story

I enjoyed reading and catching up with my other favorite couple....Nice to see Kennedy coming out of her shell....as always Travis the fierce loving protector.....The two (2) of them hit a bump when Kennedy had to deal with some unsolicited opinions from social media due to a misleading article as a result of a rare interview she gave to a online music magazine. Kennedy simply had to remember Travis was there for her totally and Travis had to allow Kennedy to continue to evolve....I love the two of them together...With regard to Devin & Willow... in this story I was able to tolerate Willow (1 of my least favorite character in this series). I enjoyed how the author allowed the characters to grow-up and evolve. Both, Devin & Willow had to learn to compromise and this short showed us how the couple grew and learned to compromise with one another. Bam & Cassie....I enjoyed catching up with some of my favorite characters, I Loved Bam throughout the entire series....This short showed us the growth of Cassie (one of my least favorite characters and I thought she never deserved Bam), although she was always a very quick witted bright individual. She still had a lot of growing to do. This story showed a different side of her being a wife and a mother....Bam is still Bam and the character that everyone loves. Zay & Jersey....I enjoyed catching up with some of my favorite characters....This is one my absolute favorite couples...I enjoyed seeing the softer side of Jersey when she interacted with Bam's twin daughters....Jersey also had to remember the love that she shares with her husband Zay and how he would always cover & take care of her. Zay is always a good guy, during this story his wife disappointed him with some of her actions and choices...but the two (2) finally talked and was able to get back to them. This is a series I never wanted to end. The Narration AS ALWAYS with these two was AWESOME.

A sucker for love❤️

Jacinta did it again. So glad to read about black love and perseverance. Faithful group of friends and faithful partners in love. The book could’ve been nothing but Trinity’s and Journey’s baby babble and I would have loved it since my two favorite, best-all time narrators were reading it. Get this. I enjoyed while ushering folks into voting poles.

Jersey

Jersey handling Tera at the end of Chap 16 was everything!! I absolutely LOVED this series. These narrators, as usual, were spot on. I love Jakobi and Wesleigh together. If you see these two on the same book, it's definitely going to be a great listen!

Jakobi and Wesleigh Can't Miss!

First of all, you are sorely lacking if you managed to miss reading the Prototype series. I can't tell you how much I loved reading about the band members and the trajectory of their relationships. This last installment was a long-awaited catch up. Be still my heart and thank you Jacinta Howard!
