Publisher's summary

Falling in love for the second time is almost impossible, especially after my wife's sudden death.

And falling for my daughter’s nanny is a big no-no.

But my defense is crumbling, and I think I am losing my heart too!

When my daughter Violet’s last nanny rejected the offer to relocate with us to Chicago, I had hardly any choice but to appoint a new nanny as soon as possible.

And then Megan walked in like a blazing sun ray in my otherwise dull and grey world, with her hot features and her charismatic persona.

Violet and Megan bonded pretty well, which came as a big surprise for me.

And now I think my little girl is obsessed with her, and so am I.

Story is good but…

The storyline is good but some of the dialogue is ridiculous. The musings of a seven year old, for example. But I can get past that if it’s a good story.

The narrator however was not good. Odd inflection, awkward word emphasis, and reading the sex scenes like the words of passion have periods rather than exclamation marks was very off putting. This book was “read” rather than voice acted.

Not a big fan of this one, sorry.
