NO

This series continues to disappoint. I listened to them out of order, but Kim is a constant wonder woman solo hero according to the author. These stories lack imagination or ANY depth. Kim is beyond irritating and trite. I'm deleting the series as it's a waste of data not to mention time. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was poor.

Captivating

Kim is on another adventure that keeps us engaged in this story.

Claire Nicholls brings the characters to life with her narrating.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Very intriguing

This story kept me guessing the entire audiobook. The reveal at the end is dynamic and surprising. Hard to put down. This audiobook moves quickly and shows a disturbing case of mental illness. Good book. I have enjoyed The Lake Garda Mysteries series too.

Interesting crime mystery short story

This audiobook was quick, interesting, and fun to listen to. Bookshots are not the most detailed and developed stories, but this was still quite interesting and kept me entertained the whole time. I can't ever usually finish longer audiobooks due to time constraints, so a smaller audiobook like this kept my interest the whole time, and allowed me to be able to finish. It was entertaining, thrilling, and mysterious, not knowing what will happen next. It was definitely a good listen for what it was supposed to be!

Another absolutely fantastic crime thriller

If you love crime fiction but have never read any of the novels featuring Harry Bosch, then 'The Lost Lady of Limone' would be a good one with which to start as you do not need to know much about Claire Nicholls's novel. But be aware that if you enjoy it then you'll probably want to listen to the series and then you'll discover how addictive they are!

Bookjacked!

This audiobook grabbed me and held me captive until the very end. There were so many red herrings, some so subtle that I didn't recognize them except in retrospect! It kept me guessing right up to the surprise reveal. Kim is a stubborn, bullheaded protagonist that I could get hooked on.

Awesome

I am not a huge fan of mysteries so I listened to this book. It is not overly graphic but you get the idea because the words paint such a picture. It was gripping and easy to not put down. I loved it and look forward to the next books.

Enjoyable Italian Mystery.

This book started off quite slowly, and I wasn't sure that I would like it, this was exacerbated by the narrator, who , for me, didn't make the characters different enough or imbue them with sufficient passion and character.
Fortunately to he story improved as it moved on from the introduction to the mystery which is the main element of the book, I also became more used to the narration. By the end I was quite engrossed by the story and thoroughly enjoyed it.
This was too he first book by this author that I have read/listened to and I am looking forward to exploring more in this series.

Wow

This Is Truly A Wonderful story.I think it is another example of this Author and how she writes. She writes like A dashing runaway train and just as you think you know what comes next, surprise you don't.

Another great audiobook!

I love KT Ashbourne stories. They have believable characters who show their flaws, and the characters evolve from book to book.

Short but full bodied

This book might be short and I admit I don't usually go for short books not even if free as you usually are just getting to know the characters and then book is finished ( unless of course its a short story that is linked to a book series or some kind of factual book but never fiction ) but never a first book in a series of short books. A look through my rather extensive Audible library would confirm this.

I was offered this for free and the synopsis of the story intrigued me as I could not see how an author could flesh out all hinted at in such a short time so I accepted the offer. and am I glad I did - the author did exactly as promised and you have a full and rich mystery with lots of details in just over 2hrs of book.

It is so well written, no waffling or wasting words on graphic descriptions of things that we as readers can find out elsewhere but detail enough for the story.

I am writing this review after I have listened to book one and book two as I did not want to praise to the skies and tempt you t and so like me you become hooked and the author doesn't live up to book one in the second book - well they do.

I was very lucky and I have been given a few books in this series for free to review and am listening to book three as I type this - I am listening on an Alexa device and each title is a tongue twister so takes a few goes to make the A.I understand the name of the book, good learning for it.

I will happily spend my credits on the books in the series I do not have as for all they are short they are great with everything you want in a mystery novel and perfect if you want to listen to a complete book in a few hours and not feel short-changed on the world the story is set in.

The narrator Claire Nicols voice is just perfect as are her accents - the stories are set in Italy. She has a lovely smooth voice that you can listen to forever.

So should you use a credit to buy this - for me its a yes and I hope if you do you will enjoy it as much as I did........right off to review book two
