Mark Tufo does it again. After reviving the series he has come back not for brains but to continue the series that has almost every zombie fanatic nipping at the bit to hear more. Follow Mike, BT and other familiar faces as they head across the pond in hopes to find a possible cure.

I'm so happy the story continues!

Typically I like my zombies slow and dumb but who still pose a threat. The thing I like about post apocalyptic entertainment is the scavenging and survival story… this book is not that! I still enjoyed it. The zombies are more like monsters such as you might find in the Hell Divers series.

The “journal writer” in this book is the trope-y smart ass sarcastic lead male a la every detective novel but is actually kind of charming and funny, maybe because of the delivery by the narrator.

Towards the end there is a story within a story that’s very entertaining and reminiscent of Stephen King - suspenseful, other worldly and charming.

If this is the first book of the series that you looked at stop and get the rest of the ZF series. I am a HUGE fan of Mark Tufo and the series and this one is no exception. Well worth it!!

Really enjoyed this. Much like the original series that got me hooked before the author took it in a direction that was just a freak show that I couldn’t continue.
Looking forward to the next one.

Micheal Talbot is (in my opinion) someone who epitomizes the best attributes of a disgruntled veteran. I see SOOO much of myself in how he verbalizes what he want to say. Knowing that his tales aren't totally gone because of these "Lost diaries" makes me happy, thank you Mr. Tufo. Mr. Runnette, absolutely think your ability to bring life to these characters is awesome.
