Could there be a lost Herondale line out in the world today?

Simon Fix
I have soaked up The Infernal Devices, The Mortal Instruments, and The Bane Chronicles. Clare is one of my favorite authors. I recommend listening to the Infernal Devices and Mortal Instruments before The Shadowhunter Academy or Bane Chronicles. I dearly love the back stories that continue to give us more of the characters we love. If you were taken in by the fantastic detail, the humor, the centuries of shadow hunter tradition, and the world Clare created then you will adore these shorts. The narration is first rate and who doesn't love Simon and Jace banter amidst Herondale history?

The Herondales
Simon is. learning to fit in, and stick up for himself. He still does not understand who he is as a person., but Clary tries to remind him that he is still the same Simon as before. He dislikes the law that vampire s have to be killed if they step out of line, and questions when they cannot just go to jail. He even learns about about a last Herondale as a precautionary tale.

Great Way to Fill In Gaps
I love how the authors fill in back story and details from other stories so that these short episodes are intricately woven into the fabric of the larger novels. It is especially nice to read about Simon's realistic-seeming battle to discover who he is along with his returning memories. So as NOT to have spoilers, I would recommend you read/listen to these stories before you read Lady Midnight.
