C.C delivers as usual!

The story lines gave all the impact we are use to. To spend time with characters we've grown to love and we know so well. The twists and hints and backwards glances to things that already occurred is really nice. The climax battle was a little meh. My only complaint was BD Wong whom I love from Law and Order and HTGAWM he destroyed our characters. I don't recall his reading to be so horrid last time. His perspective was so off it ruined it and mispronounced names like come on! Just like an acting gig research your characters a simple Google would have sufficed. Jace is not some vain Surfer dude, Alec is a bad ass w/some insecurities but nonetheless I won't discuss what he did to my Simon. When I finally caught on to his storyline(which broke me and I could have sat in that feeling w/Simon) I was like What the what?! . I'd rather READ💀 the next book.

Narrator...only good with one voice.

Loved story. But why does everyone sound like a slow surfer or slow stoner besides Magnus?

I would've liked to see more of Alec's skills in combat and be a hero who rescue's ALL for a change !!
It was romantic and very fictional story that didn't disappoint , thank you Cassi
The performance was a bit overdramatic sometimes and the voices of Jace ,Simon and Isabil were too much honestly

BD Wong brings the characters to life in this fantastic novel by Clare! I love her Shadowhunter stories and this is one of the best yet! #MalecForever

ok, book not the best

not as good as the other Shadowhunter books. the narrator wasn't my favorite of the series and I truly enjoy the Shadowhunter books.

Good story, but bad narration

the story was good, but I did not care for the narration. the accents the narrator used were horrible. he made the New York shadowhunter sound like California surfers and Jem had a completely Chinese accent. Not like he had been based out of England and Idras for over a hundred years.

it takes a while to get into the story mostly because he makes people sound immature, without substance, overly feminine

wonderfully read and great comedic timing. BD Wong was born to read this masterful tale! do not skip it

Love the story, Hate the narrator!

I love all the Shadowhunter books. The characters are engaging & memorable. I didn't like the way this guy interpreted the characters. Simon sounded depressed all the time, very monotone. But Jem's voice, ugh! Jem does not have a horrible Chinese accent, he has always had an English accent! It almost made it impossible to listen to.
