Acerca de esta escucha
Read by the author.
In the face of modern challenges to faith, The Law, the Christ, the Promise by Professor R.L. Solberg is an essential guide for believers seeking a firmer grasp on Christian truths. This concise yet profound verse-by-verse Bible study dissects the Apostle Paul's message to the Galatians, addressing false teachings and bringing to light the significance of justification, righteousness, and God's promise through Christ. Solberg's engaging exploration offers historical insights, theological depth, and practical applications, enriching listeners' understanding of the gospel's freedom. Ideal for those eager to reinforce their faith against contemporary skepticism, The Law, the Christ, the Promise serves as both an enlightening study and a shield against the distortion of the true gospel. It's a pivotal book for anyone looking to deepen their grasp on the gospel and defending it today.

Jacob seems to be anything but a model disciple. He's a trickster, liar, and selfishly ambitious man who fathers children with four women and leads a dysfunctional family rife with jealousy and backstabbing. But Jacob is also Israel, the namesake of the Old Testament community of God, chosen and blessed. As such, this sinner-saint, who limps along with the Lord, burdened by weakness and beset by problems, is the mirror image of all of us who follow Jesus.

Torahism is the #1 book on defending against the theology of Torahism, which teaches that all followers of Jesus, whether Jew or Gentile, are required to keep the Law of Moses. It was written to help you understand and address the teachings of movements such as Hebrew Roots, Torah-keepers, Pronomian Christianity, and Messianic Christians, which can be unbiblical, dangerous and divisive.

Historia
Douglas Murray, #1 international bestselling author and renowned cultural commentator, confronts arguably the most pressing question of our time: Why are Western supporters of Palestine unwittingly aligning with an evil empire? The campus left frames the violent hostilities as white colonialists committing genocide. Yet only a third of Israelis are Ashkenazi Jews of European ancestry. Murray argues that the conflict is not a simple tale of oppressor versus oppressed, but a clash between a thriving multi-racial democracy and a death cult bent on its destruction.

Reading Reading the Old Testament can seem like exploring an old, mysterious mansion, packed with of all sorts of strange rooms. What does this odd and ancient world have to do with us, who are modern followers of Jesus? As it turns out, everything! Every chapter in the Old Testament, in a variety of ways, tells the story that culminates in Jesus the Messiah. What Christians today call the Old Testament is what Jesus and the earliest believers simply called the Scriptures.

Do you already have a good grasp of the Old Testament? Wonderful. This book will be an enjoyable review. Do you not know the difference between the Bible and The Hobbit? Also fine. This book will be a helpful map into unknown territory. By the time we're done, you won't know all the ins and outs of the story, but you will have a strong grasp of the major movers and shakers. We will sit shotgun with patriarchs and prophets. Each one will take us a little farther down the Old Testament road until we get to the goal: to Jesus, the one in whom the whole story finds fulfillment and meaning.

Historia
In our age when the church can too often seem like a poor copy of the world, Chad Bird challenges us to reclaim the astounding originality of our ancient, backward faith. With compelling examples from the Bible and today, Bird paints an enticing picture of the counterintuitive, countercultural life that God wants for us. He helps listeners delight in all of the ways that Jesus turned the world upside down, allowing us to experience true freedom, not from our weaknesses but in the midst of them.
