A lot of radical story line

The life choices of the top three main characters did not ring true to their characters as portrayed in previous books.

Complexity of an alternate history was delicious

Loved the strength of Felicia, and the enduring self-possession of Lizabeth Rose. Hoping there will be another book with the new lines.

A great listen and a great series

I’m sorry this series has ended. I enjoyed it tremendously as I have all of Charlaine Harris’s series.

Why is it over?

I really hope Charlaine picks the story up in Europe, with Felicity and WW2 as the main characters.

The voice actress does wonderful work.

The majority of this book was better than book before it. that being said it seems like the author gave up on her characters. This book makes the journey of the entire rest of series pointless and the characters never change for the better or compromise. The main character doesn't know what she wants from life and does things that make no sense in the grand scheme of her "I'm independent but protective personality".
