Publisher's summary

A matriarchal line of hired killers dating back to the Dark Ages. Is crossing them an act of suicide or just plain stupidity? Someone decided to find out.

When one woman returns from college to find a bloody house and her family dead, it is her duty to strike back. Her family has honed their killing skills for nearly 1,400 years, and their influence has been felt through some of the biggest events in history.

Kings, popes, generals, and presidents have all fallen at their hands. How one man and a team of hired mercenaries hopes to stand up against the deadliest family the world has ever known is anyone’s guess. The attempt to wipe them out was unsuccessful. Now they face the wrath of the last lollipop.
